DESIGNERS GET PREPPED and PAMPERED at 1st-Time Event!

On Thursday, August 25th, ASID members and guests were treated to an interesting combination of activities at Industry Partner Schmidt Custom Floors showroom in Waukesha. Not only did the attendees have the opportunity to check out the different types of flooring options now available at Schmidt, they could also participate in a professional portrait session that included a hair and make-up touch-up!
Designers had the chance to speak directly with industry representatives who were located at information stations throughout the two levels of the showroom. At the end of the evening door prizes, including some designer area rugs, a photo session gift card, and salon services gift cards were awarded to several lucky recipients. All attendees went home with a goodie bag courtesy of Schmidt Custom Floors.
This event represented the WI chapter’s involvement in the national ASID “Share the Love” new member recruitment campaign, where members are encouraged to invite their non-member designer friends to participate and experience programs and opportunities showcasing the benefits of ASID membership. We extend a big thank you to Industry Partner Schmidt Custom Floors and their participating vendors for hosting a successful evening for all!
