Call for Hosts

We Need Your Help!

We are launching a new kind of event this year, one with a central location in Madison (the Marquee Theater at UW Union South) plus satellite locations in designer’s homes across Wisconsin.  The event is Cinema Night Across Wisconsin and the film is Eames: The Architect and the Painter.

We are actively seeking designers to host a screening in the following areas: Green Bay, Stevens Point/Wausau, Racine, Milwaukee (2), Lacrosse/Eau Claire, Appleton/Fox Valley, and Lake Country.

All you need to host is a DVD or BluRay player and seating for the number of people you can accommodate.  There will be a live chat after the movie (for that evening and the ensuing days) so an internet connection that allows interested guests to watch, read aloud, and post your group’s commentaries would be a great addition.

Hosts will receive a gift copy of the film on DVD and a Home Screening Kit with Popcorn and Sweets plus a Q&A guide to stimulate discussion after the screening.  Beverages and any other snacks will be the responsibility of the host.
