Duet Resource Group, a leading independent manufacturer’s representative firm of
KI, is looking for a field tech representative. This position will be based out of our
Milwaukee office and will perform job duties throughout the state Wisconsin with
occasional travel to Iowa and Nebraska.
This position will work closely with our company sales representatives to assist
with projects that involve furniture installation. The field tech rep will deliver
furniture samples, provide labor estimates, work to meet dead-lines, and assist with
punch-list items for projects.
Candidates must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and carpentry skills as well
as the ability to read and understand installation drawings. Strong supervisory,
communication and computer skills are also required. Experience in the modular
furniture industry is a plus.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and will possess strong communication and
technical coordination skills as well as the ability to read blueprints. One to three
years of project coordination experience, a 2- or 4-year related college degree, or a
background with interior furnishings and space planning is required. CAD
knowledge is preferred. Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
